Commercial Pilot - Airplane

LOGBOOK ENDORSEMENT CHECKLIST

​

  • TSA Endorsement 49 CFR 1552.3(h)

  • Prerequisites for practical test 61.39 (a)(6)(i) and (ii)

  • Review of deficiencies on knowledge test 61.39 (a)(6)(iii)

  • Ground Instruction 61.105 (or home study course cert.)

  • Knowledge Test 61.35(a)(1), 61.123(c), 61.125

  • Flight proficiency/practical test 61.123(e), 61.127,

AERONAUTICAL EXPERIENCE:

​

  • 250 hours Total Time (minimum 100 in powered aircraft)

  • 100 hours PIC (minimum 50 in airplanes)

  • 50 hours Cross Country PIC (minimum 10 in airplanes)

  • 20 hours Dual

            -10 hours IFR Training. (If you have an IFR Rating,                    you still MUST complete 20 hours dual but you                    do not have to do IFR training during that time.)

            -10 hours Complex or TAA

            -One 2 hour cross country flight at day (100 NM)

            -One 2 hour cross country flight at night (100 NM)

  • 3 hours Prep within preceding 2 calendar months

  • 10 hours Solo OR Performing duties of PIC.

  • *****SEE 61.129, YOU CAN NOT COMBINE SOLO & PIC*****

  • 300 NM Cross Country with minimum 3 landings. At least 250 NM from original point of departure

  • 5 hours VFR Night

  • 10 Takeoff and landings at towered airport

  • Facebook Clean

BRING TO THE EXAM CHECKLIST

  • Pilot Logbook Photo ID (Current with residential address and signature)

  • Medical Certificate or BasicMed qualification

  • IACRA Username & Password

  • Pilot Certificate (signed on back)

  • Knowledge Test Results

  • Aircraft Documents (AROW – Bring into building for exam)

  • Aircraft Maintenance Logs

  • AD Compliance Record

  • View Limiting device

  • Current Charts (paper or electronic)

  • Flight Computer (E6-B – manual or electronic)

  • Plotter (Manual or electronic)

  • Navigation Log (Paper or electronic)

  • Flight Plan Form (Paper or electronic)

  • Fee of $800.00 (full exam)
